UNGA81 Brain Days, New York

Krystal's third consecutive UN General Assembly Science Summit appearance. Panelist on "The Brain Health Blueprint: Turning Science into Scalable Human Impact Today" at Brain Days in New York, hosted by the European Brain Council during UNGA81 week. Richard Hatzfeld moderated. Her co-panelists were Sandra Bond Chapman, PhD (Founder and Chief Director, Center for BrainHealth, UT Dallas), Ian Robertson (Trinity College Dublin; co-leader of The BrainHealth Project), and George Vradenburg (Founding Chairman, Davos Alzheimer's Collaborative). The two days of programming covered workplace brain health, education, and brain performance.

The panel presented findings from the Center for BrainHealth's recent paper in Nature's Scientific Reports on The BrainHealth Project, and launched the BrainHealth Pulse, a 12-minute rapid brain-fitness snapshot derived from the BrainHealth Index.

Krystal's framing, in her own recap of the week: "Job design is brain science. Autonomy, job demands, support, and relationships at work shape brain health, and we can measure them." Alongside the BrainHealth Pulse, CCG is measuring those organizational factors to assess their association with brain health.

The appearance follows the "Brain Advantage" panel at UNGA79 in 2024 and the "Towards a Brain-Positive Organization" panel at UNGA80 in 2025.
