Position paper from the Google Experience Institute, HKS, and Slalom, written with more than 20 academic and industry organizations and launched at the Global Brain Economy Summit in New York on September 22, 2026. The 48-page paper reviews 127 scientific papers and more than 60 industry papers, and sets out three design strategies for thriving teams across roles and rituals, place, and policy and technology.
